iPhone Repairs UK general questions

Q. Can I drop in and wait for my repair to be carried out?
You can certainly come and see us and drop your iPhone off for repair no problem, we will then mail it back to you when it is complete, we unfortunately don't have a waiting area at the moment but we are in the process of setting this up in the near future.

Q. Will I lose any data from my iPhone?
No you shouldn't, and the repairs that we carry out will not lead to data loss, however we cannot emphasise enough that you MUST plug  your iPhone into your computer before you send it in and ensure that it has been backed up as we are not responsible for lost data from your iPhone.

Q. Will you access my iPhone and the data that is on it?
There are a few repairs that you can select that we will have to access to test once the repair has been carried out, however we have an extremely strict data privacy policy here at iPhoneAngels and none of your data will be accessed.

 

Q. Why should I send my iPhone to you by Special delivery?
Royal Mail special delivery is a 24Hr service that in our experience is far more reliable than 1st class recorded and it is also insured up to £500 whereas 1st class recorded is only up to £36. Also the quicker it gets here the quicker we can fix it!

Q. Do you use Royal Mail Special Delivery to return my repaired iPhone?
We certainly do, its guaranteed delivery by 1pm next day on weekdays and is insured up to £500.

Q. Do you return my iPhone back in my packaging?
No we don't, we use specifically designed Protec™ boxes to give the upmost protection to your iPhone on its return journey so please do not send packaging that you do not want to lose. 

Q. Does my repaired iPhone come with any warranty or guarantee?
It certainly does! We beat Apple, as they will only offer a 3 month warranty on repaired or exchanged units whereas we have the confidence in our parts and abilities to be able to offer a massive 1 year warranty on ALL repairs that covers parts and labour! We can be this confident because we only use the very best quality brand new genuine apple spare parts in your iPhone, fitted by highly trained and dedicated iPhone repair engineers.

Q. What if my iPhone is still under warranty from Apple?
If this is the case and Apple warranty covers the problem that you are experiencing then it is definitely worth contacting them first, we deal mostly with either accidentally damaged iPhones or iPhones that are out of their 1 year manufacturer's warranty. Our repair will invalidate any existing manufacturer warranty on the device, however you have peace of mind in the fact that we offer a full 1 year warranty on the repair that we have carried out and most accidental damage won't be covered by Apples own warranty anyway.

 

 

 

 

Q. How can I pay for my repair?
We accept all major credit and debit cards and also Paypal through our simple and very secure checkout process partnering SagePay. The payments are taken using their secure servers and we comply with all of the latest PCI DSS legislation to ensure that all of your details remain safe and secure.

 

Q. Do you keep a record of my card details?
No, absolutely not. Your transaction is between you and SagePay on their secure servers and we do not have access to your card details whatsoever.
